Our Process

From Brief to Delivery

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work from our drawings?

Yes. Most commissions begin with a designer’s drawings, specification or concept sketch. Our design engineers develop these into full technical drawings, advising on construction, comfort and materials before anything is made.

Do you make prototypes?

Where a piece is new or complex, we produce a prototype for review in our workshop or on site. It is refined until proportions, comfort and finish are approved, and becomes the reference for production.

What are your typical lead times?

A typical bespoke commission takes 12 to 14 weeks from approved drawings and samples. Larger hospitality orders are scheduled in phases to suit the project programme.

Can we specify our own fabrics and finishes?

Yes. We work with fabrics, leathers and finishes specified by the designer, alongside our own sourcing, and colour match timber stains and lacquers to your samples.

Is your furniture suitable for hotels and restaurants?

Our pieces are engineered for contract use, with hardwood frames built for heavy daily wear. Fire compliance requirements are confirmed with you at specification stage.

Do you deliver and install?

We offer white glove delivery and installation, or kerbside delivery, directly from our Long Eaton workshop to sites across the UK and internationally.

Can we visit the workshop?

Yes. Workshop visits are by appointment, and are a good way to review prototypes, samples and pieces in production.

What aftercare do you offer?

Our frames carry a lifetime guarantee, and we offer a re-upholstery and renovation service so pieces can be refreshed as interiors evolve.
